A Company Code represents an organizational unit for which a complete self-contained set of accounts can be drawn up in compliance with the statutory requirements and for the purpose of external reporting. A Company Code is created to identify a legally independent company, which is required to draw up a separate set of financial statements for statutory, and tax purposes.
It facilitates the generation of Financial Statements comprising the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Accounts as also multiple analytical reports.
