The Chart of Depreciation contains the defined Depreciation Areas. Depreciation area is used to calculate different values in parallel for each fixed asset for different purposes.
A Depreciation Area in SAP will represent a set of Asset Values that an enterprise will like to maintain for a specific purpose.
